that was my season 6 rank, i did badly on my placements and i ended up in gold 1 xD this is what happens when you go up against high tier players rip

It's because they shifted everyone's tiers down a bunch. They are trying to put less people in the higher elo's i think.

I agree. A lot of my friends did not get placed in mid-plat and they were mid-diamond. Most of them got low plat-high gold.

Interesting. Past seasons most players got placed at most one tier below their previous rank and 2-3 divisions above with a perfect record. One of my friends was P1 and got placed in P3 this season (6-4 record) so I guess he got quite lucky.

Yeah, I don't know how their system works. Because I had 6-4, and I dropped exactly one tier.

I know plat1 is the highest you can be placed, it mostly gets filled up by ex- challengers and master tiers. However last season my dia5 account got plat1 after 7-3
