My friend got VAC banned for using scripts... It was first a Convicted by Overwatch- Majorly Disruptive message, which I don't know much about since i'm still very new to the game. Are overwatch bans and VAC bans the same thing?? It says 1 VAC ban on record on his profile.

Could of easily been a delayed vac ban from something else, it will say vac ban regardless of overwatch or vac.
