They do scan the directory.. Why do you think you get banned when using scripthook online? They do get banned. But only when they go offline they will get banned automatically. I was recently banned for 1 month.

Scripthook online was patched in september maybe thats why you got banned. Other people using private hooks WHICH GO INTO YOUR GAME DIRECTORY arent banned.

Are you dumb? They scan the directory for scripthooks, hooks that are known. They also scan for known asi's and scripts and if they are found. They get banned.

no, heres a lesson 4 you

alexander blade made scripthook and in may of 2015 he added some code which report to R* what script files you have injected into the game
in september it was the 15th of the month, and a update came out where R* start to use this code. Then everyone who used the bypassed scripthook got banned because R* could see what mods being used, and that is why it change to manual dll injection
Then people think the DLL injections get detected but no, it was only the MSV threading which causes the ban, if you use the same script with different thread you are fine, it not cause the ban.
But now people using a different type of scripthook and it working fine.

I ask you again - if they scan the directory for script files, why am I not banned and been doing it online for 6 months now ? ?
Please tell me how all the menu mods out there work if I'm not right.
