I'm not too sure I need any help. I have every single item in the game, I just need to add classes and such. I did a lot of the tedious stuff that's all behind the scenes right now.

I have no apple products whatsoever. I'll try to add that to the buttons that can be changed (if you hit esc it'll pull up a small glitchy menu with hotkeys that can be changed)

I remember having a short-lived bug in a game I was prototyping where the GUI was being drawn with the map, but in a less abstract engine. Does Game Maker allow you to make direct Draw calls? I think you can directly draw the GUI onto the default view matrix without having to place it in an awful spot in the world, given that you use a different view matrix for drawing the ingame world objects.
