Not that i am aware of. Also TMK bungie only cares if the program accesses the memory or alters the files.

i second this, its slow firing on SMGs and autos, would prefer to disable or make it fire properly with them

You can turn it off by pressing 0 on the NUMPAD.
There should be different tones meant to indicate ON or OFF.

I wouldn't know for certain and I didn't use it for much/very long but I'm alright . (Hopefully I'm not jinxing it)
