Right so, I have been lurking in the Minecraft section for a while, and decided to make an account.

This was posted on Minecraft Forums but I decided to repost it here, and please forgive me if this is already posted, although I could not find it. This was not made by me.

When you start the Java Script (.jar) file it will do something like this:

Instead, erase that and put this URL in:

Click OK. Now it should download a Java Script file called "skintest2"
This file now makes the Preview option function.

Next, open up your char.png, which I will provide with the skin edit folder.
(char.png is just the default Minecraft skin)

After you opened up your char.png it should look something like this:

Have fun making new skins!

Some stuff:
Double Clicking the guy can freeze him. Same for unfreezing.
Edit>Part Picker lets you add clothes,shoes,shirts etc.
