Note: this was NOT created by me i'm just sharing! Anyway to avoid viruses, it is a web-browser tool (so not an exe).
How to use:
Click "load" in the top left corner and navigate to C:\Users\(Username)\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Players
click the profile you want to edit (it's named after your terraria username) and click "open" (it's a .plr file).
Happy editing!
Note: the tools are on the right. There's the "edit" and "library". Edit is where you edit existing items in your inventory. Library is where you can drag items into your inventory (There's a search function!!!!).
