How to create .hfs files current to 1.19.2013

Nexon changed the signing decryption, so the game sees the existing hfs signer as an error. It's like using coal as fuel and upgrading from a train to a plane. The coal won't work in a plane, even tho it's still "energy"!

Hmmm alright so from what i read all we need is a new hfs-sign with the new encryption right? Now then i might have this wrong but doesn't VzipFlip6 have a built in Signer, or does it still contain the old encryption?

Even IF it had a built-in signer, why WOULDN'T it also get outdated with the Jan patch? Of course it wouldn't work...
The modded .hfs files probably would still work that people posted on the forums last week - they just need to be re-signed with Nexon's new encryption.

Everything is still the same. IIRC they are simply checking UpToDateInfo.dat (based on the error code people reported, I believe it was 34). I could be wrong though, the only error codes I know for certain are 36 and 37 (file size and checksum respectively) as I don't have my notes readily available.

Wish this was here when I had to teach myself how to do this.

It would have saved alot of time for me, so hopefully it can at least help someone else, even if hfssign is patched, the process wont change much, if any.

I got error 36 since the patch; I've not gotten 34 before. Tho yes, that's what some ppl reported on here.

There has been 2 patches since hfssign.exe worked, @Fovea would have to update his encryption and codes with the most recent patches
