Opt-in beta v1070 works-just tested, did you:

• place .kfm in /brewedpc/maps
• place .u in /brewedpc
• start solo offline HoE through main menu on this map
• turn 90degrees to the right, step into black cookie gorefast and start shooting at clots?

Strange, I was able to lvl up.

Just checked what would happen if only the .kfm file was put in place- stepping into gorefast would do nothing so no clots would be able to spawn.

I guess it proves that people are setting this correctly but it doesn't work for some :/ (i was testing it only on the opt-in betas-v1069,v1070- it would be strange if it would work on the newer, beta versions and not on the older, base one)

edit: Just to clarify:

Tested on v1069,v1070- was able to both get xp and lvl up

• placed .kfm in /brewedpc/maps
• placed .u in /brewedpc

All in Programfiles KFGame folder- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame NOT IN Documents KFGame folder-C:\Users\<windowsusername>\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame

Just realized that there have been double XP weekend. It could have made it impossible to gain lvl for a few days if the XP granted exceeded some kind of limit for single ZED kill that Tripwire could have set in place as a measure of limiting exploitations.

If someone has been unable to lvl up using this exploit for a couple of recent days give it a try now?

To anyone for who the map doesn't work:
Make sure your game is in English, it need to be in English to work properly.
I just tried it and it won't work in French for example.
