Paypal Account Banned for no Reason?

Hi, so recently in mid December I bought around $500 worth of computer parts and Paypal limited my account. I guess Paypal thought someone stole money from my account so they made it limited. I don't understand why they would do this because only my bank account was attached to my Paypal account. On top of that I only had $5 in Paypal account and used my bank account to make the purchase. Then I attempted to re verify my account and it said I provided the required information. I realized that nothing happened so I sent in an email. They then sent back an automated message saying that all the money in my account would be held for 180 days and my account was banned. I have never done anything wrong so I am really confused as to what happened. If I write back I feel like I'm just going to get an automated message again. Would this email appeals @Paypal . com take me to a real person?

This is what it says when I log in.

Why is my account access limited?

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

Dec 15, 2013 : We noticed some unusual activity on the credit card linked to your PayPal account.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.)
This limitation cannot be appealed.

They then sent me an automated email with the titled "Paypal Appeal denied" and said "We have reviewed your PayPal Account and, due to the excessive risk
involved, we would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is least
disruptive to your business."

I don't even know why, I barely use my Paypal account.
