How to easily change your IP

Hey guys, i'm not really good at knowing where to put topics but i'd figure this goes in here =) move if i'm wrong.

Hey my name is Ben and this is how to easily change your IP.

Step 1: Open Notepad
Step 2: Enter the following into notepad

@echo off
echo changing IP
ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew
cls
pause
echo IP address changed
echo *You now have a new IP 
Address - Go to ( cmyip.com ) to check
echo Batch File Created By 
Original_Bullet Copyright Of MajesticHax
set /p "Press enter to exit"

Step 3: Press File --> Save As
Step 4: Save as "put name here".bat
Step 5: Run the .Bat and then press Enter when it says press any key to continue


This works for me and it's no download required. So i don't think i need to put anything extra, just leave a reply if it doesn't work for you.

Does it change your actual IP, or just act like a proxy?

act as a proxy i'm pretty sure

copy and paste these to cmd by numbers. (start-run-cmd)

It's usefull in a lot of ways... If you get banned from a game, just change IP to get back in (only works on some games), if you want to click a link that you can only click once per IP, just change your IP, if you want to reister in some game but you can't register whit the same IP, etc...
It pretty much "bypasses" some bans and stuff like that...

do you know how to change the isp ip??i heard that your isp make every computer sharing the network have the same ip or somthing and me and my brothers cant join the same room in a game

To change your ISP IP.. well.. I don't know, but try this.

If you have a wireless router, login to the router(192.168.1.1 for most). Then go to the "Status" tab, there should be a internet connection.. place. It should have a Release IP and Renew IP button.

Or you can just call your ISP.. which takes longer.

EDIT: I have a Linksys E3000. Its a fairly new router so things may be different for you.

This will not work on Static ip just so you know guys.

There are so many ways to easily change your IP. First of all you have a wireless router then you have to login in router. Then you have to go in status tab, there should be a internet connection.. place. It should have a Release IP and Renew IP button. In these way you can easily change your IP.
