Need some advice quick/other question

Ok, so how long would it take to get banned after being reported? I was RWT'ing and someone else was in the world where I was picking up my gold. I can't be sure they won't be reporting me, but I saw them trading the account making the delivery too. Should I trade the gold to another account to be safe, or would that by conjunction get that account banned too? Anyway, there's that question, and another question I want to know is what Jagex does when an account is banned. Do they do stuff like IP banning?

It's really random. Jagex will never disclose how they ban people. However, I heard that if an account suddenly gain a lot of gold, it'll trigger a warning of some kind and that account will be investigated.

If you haven't gotten banned so far, then you're probably safe.

If any company would disclose how they ban people that could be used as a counter measure to avoid being banned, so I don't think you will find that information unless you paid someone working for Jagex a pretty nifty sum, anyways however the reports caused by tickets (other players) towards Jagex varies between the query tbh, also it takes time for them to check the report, however they check it and their processing, so it can take a week, it can take a month, depends.

99% of the time anyone that is trading the gold seller is also buying, or if they are around the area that gold seller is selling gp they probably already bought from them.
