I've been enjoying Assassins Creed Odyssey lately. Great story and very fluid gameplay.

God of War (2018) was great. You could also try the past two Assassins Creed games - Origins and Oddysey.

If you enjoy singleplayer games I would recommend the Tomb Raider series.
Recently bought the new Shadow of the Tomb Raider and I think it is great, it has a good story in my opinion!
Dead by Daylight is also a fun game to play with games, unfortunately its not a game that you can play for hours.
