Both have similar handling and comfort, Mercedes wins for their AMG models (insane exhaust systems), BMW wins for their general looks.

Neither because they are both money pits, and terrible cars.. I am a Toyota fan, and would get a honda second.
If i had to pick tough as a rental i would drive the hell out of the BMW because it would be a great driving experience .. Drove one already was realy fun
