30 year anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre
On this day 30 years ago the protests in Chinas capital Beijing were brutally beat down by the State military.
The protests started in april of 1989. The people that were mostly students, demanded for increased rights as freedom of speech and social freedom in general. The cause for protests was the death of a former leader who was said to be open to further liberalize the country. In that time China was in a phase of economic rise and social changes after the communist regime of Mao Zedong.
Tiananmen Square, dead centre in Beijing right infront of the forbidden city, was a main part of the protestors right from the beginning.
By the end of may the government enacted martial law. That didnt stop the protestors and they stayed at Tiananmen square.
It escalated in the night of June 3rd to June 4th where the army troops have started to clear the square. According to witnesses the troops were going hard on the protestors, firing blind into a group of people fleeing the scene or driving over people with their tanks.
Surviving protestors have often been kept in prison for more than a decade.
The chinese government to this day is not holding a ceremony for the people that died. In their eyes the troops were the forces that liberated the country from the protestors.
Chinese censoring is still present to this date on websites owned by chinese companies. Reddit is a prime example for this as posts about what happened there are being deleted regularly without any valid reason.
You now ask yourself why this is part of the news?
It is 30year old you say.
While this is true it is also not important to never forget what happened there as it shows the importance for the right of free speech. A basic right which is often times endangered, even in todays times.

Apple’s New Mac Pro?
Apple has said that their upcoming Mac Pro is supposed to be a modular system and instead of a regular kind of component based build that we've seen with like PC's and even the oldschool Mac Pro. There's a growing sense that this new Mac Pro is supposed to be a stackable modular system, so you have kind of like a base unit that has like your core components, and then you have modules you can add on the top or beneath it that would add extra functionality to the device. So in your base unit, you have stuff like your CPU, your RAM and your storage. And because it doesn't have a GPU, you will need to buy a module for your graphics, and that's kind of the beauty of a modular system. If you're someone that has very undemanding graphical needs you can just get something lightweight, but if you want something that's more powerful, you have the option of spending a lot more money and getting a more powerful GPU for your system. The Mac Pro will be the first kind of modular PC or modular desktop that's ever been made for the professional high-end market.
Skepta - Ignorance Is Bliss
It has been three years since Skepta brought out his album Konnichiwa which was one of the greatest grime albums of the decade. Having placed within the top 10 of the UK charts he has left himself with a high standard to uphold with future releases. Late 2018 Skepta became a father which shows within his approach in this new album that holds a focus on new responsibilities whilst leading a famous life. We saw "Bullet from a Gun" as a teaser with the flow between relationships in finding the right girl to arrogant behaviour and to the stronger depths of the lyrics, "Recently I've been learning a lot, All I know is there's no better feeling, Than getting home and seeing my little girl in her cot", and caring for his daughter. You notice this within his music video for the entry to the album as Skepta sits in the London Underground at Camden Town station watching over his child in a pram leading the album to express his newfound fatherhood opening his eyes to a wider world of which he is still attempting to find his place.

Warriors Beat Raptors in NBA Finals 2
NBA Finals game two is becoming to be known as one of the most improbable and terrific wins for the Warriors in their five-year championship-winning run. During this game, many of Warriors's starters, including Durant, Thompson, and Looney, left the game due to injuries. Multiple analysts during the game thought it was a sure win for the Raptors, but the Warriors came back again in the second and third quarters with a 18-0 to clinch out a 109-104 win against the raptors. At the end, many people felt the Warriors were able to pull off a win due to them believing in themselves no matter what happens. Draymond and Cousins also were impressive, with Draymond being one assist short of a triple-double. At the end, the Warriors were ultimately able to pull off a win due to their excellent game strategy, passing the ball continuously to generate an opening in order to make a goal.
African Final Abandoned After Stopping 40 Minutes Due to VAR Issues!
Esperance won the CAF Champions League in Tunisia Saturday after Wydad Casablanca refused to continue playing on 60 minutes because VAR was unavailable to judge a disputed equalizer.
The Tunisian were leading 1-0 in the final second leg and 2-1 overall when play was halted, and after a 90-minute delay the referee awarded the match to the home side.
Tunisian media reported that officials were aware before the match that the VAR (video assistant referee) was not working.
It is the first time in the 55-year history of the elite African club competition that a match in the home-and-away final has not been completed.
Wydad believed they had leveled on 59 minutes when Walid el Karti headed a cross into the net. TV replays confirmed he was onside, but might have fouled an opponent.
The Moroccan team insisted that the Gambian referee check with VAR, seemingly unaware that the often controversial system was not available.
At one stage, CAF president Ahmad Ahmad and the bosses of Esperance and Wydad spoke on the side of the pitch without being able to get the match restarted.
The Wydad players and coaches eventually went to the changing room and, after a long delay, the referee indicated that Esperance had been awarded the match.
US visa applicants will now have to submit their social media details
Under a new law for US visa applicants will now have to submit all of their social media names and five years worth of email addresses and phone numbers, certain applicants will be exempt to this new rule these rules where proposed in march of 2018 and it will effect over 14million people the state department is quoted on this new rule saying "We are constantly working to find mechanisms to improve our screening processes to protect US citizens, while supporting legitimate travel to the United States." This new rule seems quite invasive and easily a slippary slope for though policing.
Why Would The US Demand Social Media Details From Their Visa Applicants
According to latest reports, all those who are applying for US visas will have to submit their social media details before applying for the visa.
Latest reports suggest that the newly adopted rules will have the subject to have state their formalities in terms of information (pictures, details, bio data and more).
The State Department today revealed that people will have to give their social media names, along with 5 years of US data (email address plus phone numbers), if they are applying for a US visa.
From what it looks like and what is evident is that Trump’s problem is the
‘immigrants’ and that, this has been his stance ever since he came into office.
The Land Of Immigrants
Though America is a land of immigrants, ever since Mr. Donald Trump has joined office, he is after the immigrants. Though this must not be forgotten that ‘immigrants are those who have essentially made up America’.
According to a statement released by Trump himself, while speaking to The Hill, anyone who uses their social media ‘could face serious and immediate immigration consequences’. The notion is very funny because if a person doesn’t want to submit their information, why would he want enter America itself?
America is The Land of opportunity or so it claims; so such policies are every way, wrong and such stringent requirements will drive people away from the Great Economy itself.
Really, America has isolated itself from the World, thanks to Trump and people ARE feeling suffocated. It seems like it is a one man show, though nobody’s interested in this man, they might have an interest in America. It is true because immigrants have made up this economy. They migrated a long time ago, leaving behind their loved ones and going there for space, land, opportunity, family, class, luxury and more. Banning the immigrants or making it difficult for them to travel would essentially create more fanaticism and plus it would leave for people to not want to there in the first place. The problem is the man himself and his repulsion for the greater good. It is a simple case of a Republican trying to ‘revolutionize’ the world but sadly, one and a half year in term and 2019, things are in all directions. There’s no answer but such policies are only making it difficult for people to come in terms to the reality.
It is a barricade to their growth and their freedom. It is a sad glory.
Trump’s immigration notion and policy was a part of his crackdown, on the global economy in 2016. This was his notion in 2019 and he has sort of just complicated everything without ‘essentially’ being involved but he is ‘truly involved’ – He really is.
To go by the truth, US banning immigrants like Muslims or people from all over the world will collide with the greater interest of America itself and it might end up in a collision.
