I think if you contact paypal and say your account got hacked and someone sended money for that person. They will fix it. You should try it before you pay.

Stop paying people for any shit just call PayPal tell them the story ONLY IF you have chat proofs or some kind of substantial evidence. Else just make some random bullshit and hope for the best.

you can not tell them it was hacked. They investigate ip log ins and if they dont find one on that period of time when the scam took place then the refund request is declined.

Just call up paypal and explain your situation and give them the proof they ask.
It might be your only shot,since I doubt you've used a different ip when you've sent the cash.

Call paypal and be relaxed and wait until you get to the disputes and claims agents and tell them your story. if the guy/girl doesnt want to help hangup and try again until you get someone who wants to help its quite easy. I promise. paypal always goes with the buyers!

i would say calling your bank is the best option at this point (unless you used a different ip while paying) BUT there's a risk that your paypal will get limited so do this at ur own risk.
edit: oh and obviously tell your bank you did not get the stuff you did pay for if this isn't obvious enough
