    How the recent hacks got patched

    It appears that steam validates unturned's files as soon as anything modifies them. How to stop this; I don't know. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

    What you state in the first part is incorrect. Unless you have something setup in steam the files do NOT validate on their own. The reason for that is that it takes up too much time. So launch time would be too high. The most likely thing is you installed it incorrectly.

    As for the second part, yes I do send any big exploits to Nelson so he can fix them the reason being if they get out to the public it can cause problems. However I am not involved with helping creating the anticheat or anything else.

    Alright. I saw that it validated every time I attempted to install MSZ/NRMF. I'm not sure why.
