Spoofing an API?

What I mean is basically have access to the API with unlimited calls but no need for an API key, would this even be possible?

Please clarify what you mean, what kind of api this is, and what you mean with " no need for an API key"

Correct me if i'm wrong, but
You have a calling(?) api that needs an key to be used. but you don't have said key and still want to use it.

If so, you could try to brute force the key (if you want to spend the rest of your life on getting the key, assuming it's a long, random key like just about every api uses.)
Or you could setup some sort of phishing program to get the key of others.

I have the API key, but I want to spoof Riot API to basically have unlimited calls with it because currently it's fixed at 500 requests per 10 minutes.

Get more API keys, and possibly you'll need to use proxies

Contact them with what you want to do (only if it's not obviously against their guidlines) or try exploit their API.

Curious: Why would you need more than 500 requests in 10 minutes?

Sounds like he wants it for brute forcing to me, I don't think riot will happely comply with that xD

Wanna make an extremely fast scraper, obviously I could use a bunch of keys for this and that would probably be easier but I was just wondering how would doing it this way be possible.
