I'd still be careful, though. A close friend of mine got banned yesterday and he's never edited his save file.

Yeah, I highly doubt that was the reason since he bought all of the DLC for Dead by Daylight.

The only DLC he was missing at the time was The Hag and Freddy. I gifted him both of them.

Edited the properties page of the GLR shortcut and closed steam/logged out. I have bought 3 of the dlcs and just want to unlock the others.

Make sure Steam is completely closed before opening the shortcut.

Also, make sure you've added the -NoHook parameter in the shortcut's properties.
