have you heard any of the soundcloud rappers? some are pretty bad
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Its almost become a joke. How many “check out my mixtape, its fire” jokes have you heard? Plus with the internet the genre is so over saturated that it makes it that much harder to cut through the bullshit.

I second this. Tbh I think soundcloud is a blessing and a curse. Mumble rap started before soundcloud became a thing but at least it was hq mumble rap if that makes any sense. Now anyone can blow up. Even if their music is trash, yes they'll have a few or one good song but it's not consistent and most of the time it's just one person repeating the same bs and speaking instead of rapping. Honestly Idk if it will ever go back to the state of where it was
I feel like the biggest issue with most of these rappers is that their beats sound like they were scraped off a 2005 disc or something like that. With the way rap is shifting towards melodies nobody is gonna succeed with that.
I agree rap today just isnt the same as it was say 15 years ago, theres a select few rappers who I kinda like today but most cant even rhym whatsoever.
Thanks to The Internet lol
Literally, it's just because of the power of the internet, we can take a retard like that beverly hills brat one who went on Dr Phil and now has a humungous following and is set for life with sponsorships etc... same with the catch me outside girl and what not. This world is fucked, we need to stop hyping over retards and making them rich and their lives easy
I am not a middleman nor do I buy/sell anything. If you are being contacted by someone off-site from MPGH then it's not me! Please report these to me via PM. Don't be stupid, think first.
Lol SoundCloud made it easier to get into I guess
Hip-Hop surpassed rock&roll I think last year as the most popular music genre
blueface baby yeah aigght, I am everyone's fantasy
I don't really like it
maybe some pieces
I agree, everyone is only in it for the money, I mean who wouldn't be? You see, what these young artist seem to forget is the pure talent and, art of being a rapper. All these new rappers seem to rap about is f****ing women, getting money, selling dope, riding around or killing someone. What actually happened to the rap where people would tell a story that everyone can relate to? Or what about rap where the men used to appreciate their women, and talk about buying them diamonds and Gucci or whatever they like, or the rap where if it did include any thing about f****ing women or getting money it was in a gangsta way. Not in no arrogant selfish and childish way. I mean if your'e gonna rap at least speak some factual, relateable and real life stuff, not no corny "I'm Blueface Baby" sh*t.
