Why watch YouTubers playing games?

I don't watch people playing games much anymore, but sometimes I still do. I think for certain people, its more about seeing the person whose playing's reactions. and it could also be that they are to poor to afford the game, so they decide to experience it another way.

Used to watch SSoHPKC when he was active, and trust me, you'd not get bored of watching his content because of his sense of humour and making jokes that confuse you because they're funny, give him a look and you'll never appreciate any other content creator other than him, and wish he came back.

Hmm , i mean i usually just watch youtube for entertaiment.. I mean it depends on which kind of gameplay your watching.. if its some multiplayer hardcore tryhard games which require 8 eyes then yeah , skill is requirement.. but if im just casually watching gameplay and eating pizza i would like to be entertained

Well I watch it when I miss a streamer's vod while I was at work. They have the highlights in a compilation video on youtube so I watch that instead.

I watch youtubers play games because I think their reactions / personalities are entertaining to watch + also, they usually play at skill levels that I can't play it so it's nice to get a glimpse into competitive gameplay
