    Twitch web bot running on server

    Hello everybody and sorry for my bad English.
    I want to make a web bot that I could run on a Linux server for 24/7. This bot should have the options to login to the own twitch account and always view a Twitch streamer if he is going online. But I don't really know how to begin. I search but found nothing really. Could me somebody please help with this problem. Or recommend my a site where I could learn how to do something like this?

    just have a computer and keep a chrome tab open with the stream on it?

    why do you need a different system and server to do this task?
