I think a good idea
Hey guys,
I'm sure most of you know about the exploit, where if 2 people go into a dungeon and the host disconnects, the mobs stop attacking. What I have also noticed is that when you lag, the monster's do not stop attacking you. Through the surveillance of these events I have come up with the theory that the AI files are held in the client and not on the server.
Here is my preposition, if someone finds a way to decrypt the C9 executable, then it would be possible to null the areas which will load the AI.
Basically, a slight edit in the executable in order to prevent the mobs AI from being loaded, so mobs do not move or attack. Theoretically.
The only thing stopping us. Is the encryption on the C9 executable. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could decrypt the executable and test if it is liable. I know most of these anti-cheating softwares sync with the server.
What decrypting the executable could open:
1. The decryption of the executable could lead to even more hacks/ bots being produced.
2. It would help with the removal of the anti-cheating software, XIGNCODE.
I am not asking favours from anyone, just stating that if you want to help it would be greatly appreciated. I will be testing methods of decryption on the executable, if I am successful I will post back.
