Is there a way to become a MPGH middleman? At the moment it seems like there are so few, therefore it is quite a long process to get one. If you look at competitor sites, who have people that provide it as a free service, you can get a middleman that is trusted instantly.

MPGH staff/minions, do you think it should be available for users (that have over a certain amount of posts or meet some requirement) to apply to be middlemen?

They select new middlemen when they feel it is needed, as of right now they probably feel that the number of Official Middlemen right now are all that is needed.

My answer to that is NO.
Right now, there are 4 middleman.
That is more than enough.
If Liz feels like there should be more Middleman, then applications will go up.
There already are requirements exactly like minion, therefore there is no need for you to worry about anything.
If you do want to be a Middleman, just contribute in the Market Place and wait for applications to go up.
Where you say that other sites offer free Middleman services. Well so does MPGH, so I honestly do not understand your point there.
If you are here to complain about not having Middleman and you want to take the position, you have some work to do.

They aren't allowed because of the "trust" issue
We cannot simply trust some random user to middleman a trade
Unofficial Middleman are one of the main causes of scams too

That is very funny. A middleman online 24/7. Meaning he/she is never offline? That also means the Middleman never sleeps and is practically a robot.
And the point of appointing Middleman is to make trades safe. If there are no designated Middleman, the amount of scam levels will increase.
