I've tried it two times, and got it at the second time. For me it worked saveing, when the EAC window disappeared.

You have to change the number and save right after EAC close.

everything works! you have to catch the moment. Do not have to edit the file too soon, you need to edit and save the .pak file when the EAC has almost checked all the files.

i know and i tried it since it get released.

Yeah I cant get the timing as well. But in my case dbd starts in 2 seconds making this kinda difficult
