Regarding the GUI, I agree with you. It's not very convenient. I don't think I will use it. However I will try to implement an in-game GUI like in Infinest's client.
Regarding the destructive commands. My client is multiplayer-focused. I will only add commands that work in multiplayer and spawning/destroying/placing stuff only works in singleplayer. I can make a command that drops items from your cursor, but none of the others you mentioned.

OK good thing about the GUI problem and also I like the cursor idea

This is heavily based off Infinest's UI, Crumbler managed to get it working and I added a few things of my own which are the movable menu as well as showing/hiding it with Insert. I don't think I'll be uploading my version(the one in the link) but if Crumbler doesn't mind as well as the original creator of Infinest, I might at some point.

You are awesome! I know that your client is multiplayer focused but i was wondering if it would be possible to add a command that lets you summon NPCs (Monsters/Friendly NPC), Also can you add the command .say ? so that you can type in the chat of the server the dot and people don't suspect you for cheating etc

I need some help. I'm trying to use this in multiplayer, but it is not working. I drag the commands.txt file, drop on terraria.exe to work with terraria. Terraria then opens and works, but I don't know how to type in the commands.

The way this works is drag everything from the file u downloaded and place it in your Terraria's main directory.
