Hey guys,
I've thought of an idea to help our VB coders initiate some of their own creativity and challenge themselves.
Why don't we make a VBOTW - Visual Basics Of The Week.
Every week we shall hold it, with a different topic.
Some sort of prize would be given.
If VBOTW was made official, our coders would have more things to do and use their imagination and prowess.
What do you guys think?
/Discuss.
I like the idea, but it probably wont happen. I hope it does though ;p.
Great idea, especially for the new vB coders like me, it would help us get better at vB
Exactly.
And also, we would not obfuscate our projects, and that week's' thread will have a compilation of Projects!
This way other members can compare their projects with others and get new ideas, new codes, and share source codes with each other!
It will be very bonding and educational!
Sounds like a good idea I guess, we can give it a try.
I'd consult NextGen about it if he accepted my request on MSN
Honestly, this really catches my attention.
I personally believe, even if it isn't 'official' or a reward is given, it should still be done.
It will allow people to have a reason to do something =D
Thats right
There are a lot of motives for this competition to be initiated
I'm actually approving this idea, but I'll leave it with NextGen and I to make a decision by consensus.
Personally, I think it'll be a good way to "revitalize" the VB section, and I'm sure NextGen'll agree with that, but to be honest, this section is managed by two people, so I think it would be unjust to go through with this without his opinion.
Yes i agree, so lets wait for NextGen
He got the ideá from /me
