What's your price range? I'm in the process rn with my girlfriend on building her a gaming pc. I'm gonna go with the Ryzen 5 2600x 3.6GHz processor. Genuinely a good bang for the buck product.
Yeah after checking what AMD has been doing for the couple of years it's time to move on from Intel even though I really like it but at this point not really worth it, I'm looking for a fresh build with a 2080 nivida card, check out this website (https://envybits.com/) you can put your own price and they find all the parts.
I'm looking for someone who build up an AMD GAMING PC 144hz because I don't plan to go with 4K not really worth for me.

Need assistance?
Have you tried using pc-part-picker? Try putting in the stuff you want to keep and then fill in whatever you want to upgrade.
Currently my rig is outdated to hell w/ 4790k OCed to 4.6Ghz , 32gb ddr3 ram, gtx 980.. Only upgrade I'd be willing to do would be a 2080ti lmao. I don't really play any super demanding games but when I do.. it shows bc of the GPU

************ really helps alot when building PCs especially with their compatibility features,
You can also check /r/buildapc on Reddit, they usually have a bunch of posts there that are really helpful, most members are willing to help as well!!
If you have the money, definetly go for 3700 or 3900. Great CPUs for affordible price.
I already said this in other thread that from an economic standpoint, you shouldn't buy a PC now before corona is over. High demand and limited volume mean higher price tags.
Wait for the new rtx 30 series or AMD RDNA 2 Gpu!
it's worth the wait tbh
