hello there!
im trying to hack steam game Forge of Gods (RPG) but i faill always.. seems like they have some anticheat
is there a way to hide cheatengine from that game?
You can either crypt it, modify the source, use a rootkit, or run in a vm.
if you put a game in a vm shell they cant detect a program outside the shell. They can still detect modifications to their programming though. If you crypt it or modify the source they wont know it is cheat engine but can detect it. If you rootkit cheat engine they can't see the program at all, but can still detect changes.
Can you explain how you would run Cheat Engine in a VM and attach to a game running outside the VM? For example, let's suppose I'm running a Windows VM in VMware or VirtualBox. How can Cheat Engine attach to a process running outside the VM? Isn't cheat engine isolated from processes running in the host operating system?
