How to use Assembly-CSharp.dll mods on a Mac

If you are using a mac to try and use the Assembly-CSharp.dll cheats, then you'll probably end up in this screen when you load up the game:


1. You'll first need to get an app called "Winebottler"(Search on google) and install it.
2. Open winebottler.app and in the search bar, search for steam, and click on install

3. When steam finishes installing, click on open then it should start updating as usual(might look like it froze, but it didn't, takes a few mins)
4. Login to your steam account and search for Unturned, and download it(you should probably know how to do this :P)
5. Next you want to show hidden files(google it), then navigate to your
Finder>user>library(the one that seems transparent)>Application support
6. There there should be a file somewhat called "org.kronenberg.winebottler.steam_147760355543922" , everyone's will be different.
7. Open the file and there should be the usual windows Drive_C, windows etc.
Navigate to drive_c>Program Files>Steam>SteamApps>common>Unturned>Unturned_Dat a>Managed
8. youll find that it looks similar to your mac version

9. Now open the Assembly-CSharp.dll that you want to use, im using Crazed Hack(Havent tried others:P), now drag and drop the hacked Assembly-CSharp.dll into the Managed folder that should be open.
10. Now you want to copy EVERYTHING inside the folder that you just dragged and dropped into.
11. Now open you normal mac Steam and right click Unturned>Options>Local files>Browse local files

12. You will then see a finder window open and Unturned.app should be in there
13. Right click Unturned.app and click on show package contents, then navigate to Contents>Data>Managed
14. Paste what you have copied and replace all.


15. You're done! Close all the windows you have open(its probably a mess) and open your normal steam and play the game! BTW the insert button on a macbook is Command+M, or on a Mac keyboard its the help key.

Or a lot easier way is use BootCamp and create a Windows 7 partition..

Actually its not easier, this method will save you a ton of space and it can be done in less than 2 minutes if you know what you're doing...

My version keeps crashing when it's about to start opening steam. I tried using crossover but the store page won't load. Could you post a download for the assembly files? Or is profile specific. I've tried reinstalling many ways and still I'm either crashing or the page won't load.

Well if i upload the assembly files then i would have to update it for every version going to be released, i'll do it today or tomorrow (:
