Flash has been completely discontinued. You may be able to get it working if you download a version from the web, but do this at your own risk.
Hi all,
I've been playing mechquest since I was a kid and recently found out that it isn't available on the website now and have to use the Artix launcher to play Mechquest.
Considering that I didn't exactly have the most time as a child to get to play the game and grind, I still have a relatively low level account and it sucks.
I came across a few posts on this forum talking about using MQ Trainers and how it doesn't work anymore due to the EOL of Flash or something along those lines with a possible fix using the RunAsDate app.
I've tried to use the RunAsDate application along with multiple variants of the trainers like MQDab, DoomMQ, etc. However, nothing seems to pop up or run at all.
Was I supposed to use the RunAsDate application with the trainer itself or the artix launcher?
I had not seen a viable tutorial despite searching it up on Google and this forum, hopefully someone will see this post and help me out with a guided tutorial or head me somewhere where I can get a working trainer to use with the launcher as of right now :/
Cheers

I've tried to download Flash but when I launched the download, it just says "application initialization error" and upon clicking the finish button, I'm redirected to adobe's webpage where it says that Flash has been retired. I tried to use the RunAsDate app with the Flash installer as well but got the same error as well.
I managed to find a version of Flash that I could download along with something called portable firefox...
I downloaded Flash using the third party software, however, when I tried to launch the trainer, it apparently has its service suspended in task manager due to some permissions issue. I don't think there's a viable work around this issue even after using RunAsDate :/
I've tried it, the issue doesn't seem to be with the trainer or RunAsDate, its just the windows OS just automatically detects it as a flash program and suspends its service probably :/ that's what I think at least

How did you manage to put it in windows 7 compatibility mode tho? I'd wanna give that a try to see if it works with MQ.
How does one fix this trainer? The MQ3Loader.swf doesn't work. Any tips?
Hi guys, just letting you know I’ll be starting on a new trainer for MechQuest soon.
Head on over to my new thread if you have any ideas / requests https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1545873
Or you could try the DragonFable trainer I recently made https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1545726
