So i called apple and told them i recieved a empty box, they opened a investigation with ups, is this normal? What do i do now..its a a macbook btw

So you told them the box wasnt tampered with and told them nothing was in the box? Sounds like you messed up the SE I would hire someone to fix it for you because investigation usually last a week or 2 and depending on the situation they can refuse a refund or replacement. In an event that this would happen I would return the macbook to the apple store within the 15 day return policy and restart a few weeks later. But the rumor is is that Apple is patching the method so I wouldn't wait to long.
I'm presuming the carrier had taken a picture before he delivered the parcel and then forwarded that picture to Apple when the investigation was started. So Apple just responded with "no evidence of tampering".
curious as to what the actual reason you used was quite literally empty box or not
I think what he said is that the box WAS tampered and empty, following with the investigation with UPS and them providing proof that it was in fact not tampered.. hence it failed.
