MPGHcraft Official Beta Release - Skyblock, Leaderboards, and More!

Hello, my name is Raple and I am the head of event management for the Publicist team.

I, along with Silent and Allura, have been working hard to bring back to classic Skyblock server from old MPGH days. We are finally confident enough in the server's stability and features to release a beta.

This server is a complete Skyblock server, and starts you off with a pretty decent island and abode. You are more than welcome to destroy the island and home for materials and expand to your own leisure. To start off, simply type "/island" to create your own Skyblock. You can also use "/island help" to find out other commands, like inviting your friends.

In Skyblock, you gain points accumulating towards your "Island Level" by placing blocks. Each different block has a set amount of points it gives, some giving hundreds and some giving as few as 1 point. The goal is to have the best/highest level island as possible. This can be achieved in many ways, there is no "right" way to play. Farm, automate, and compete against your friends to make the greatest island anyone's every seen!

 

To start gaining materials, you can open the chest within your house. It has some materials to help you in the beginning. On our server, cobblestone generators have a chance to also generate ore, with diamond and emerald being at an extremely low chance of 2%/1%. In this way, you are able to gather all of the required materials for armor, redstone contraptions, and any other equipment you may need.

 

To gain and consistently have certain materials available, you will have to get creative. Using automation to farm, making mob grinders for cash, or teaming up with your friends are all great ways to get started on your adventure.

To join the server, simply connect to "mc.mpgh.wiki".

The first island to reach island level 10000 will receive an amazing reward. To participate, simply post a screenshot showing your island level in game and post it here (OR have Raple/Allura view your island level). The reward will include items on the server, monetary goods, and many other goodies.

Every island that at least reaches level 500 and posts proof will receive a minor reward for their participation on the server.
