    Angry Apple orders getting cancelled

    I don't know why but my apple order keeps getting cancelled and I have all fresh info (billing and shipping): shipping addy is somewhat modified so that their system wont match it. And I have used Amex and Discover, but I dont know why it keeps getting cancelled. Spoke with Apple and same issue, they just tell me to place order again. This sucks! need help

    More likely they have procedures in place not to as it is part of their internal fraud system. A fraud system is pretty pointless if your agents are allowed to tell how to circumvent it (most fraud systems are set up in this way)

    If you're trying to use the student discount, you can only use it once per name/address/card/etc. They will link everything and your order will get canceled when it tries to ship.

    That's what the rep on the phone told me when I tried to use my education discount to order my MacBook Pro to keep (no refund), which makes sense as I already ordered one before (refunded that one) and the order kept getting canceled. Are you trying to order using the education discount?

    Yes I am , now I will try orderring a normal one and hopefully it works
