I've been unable to get in contact with some of the sellers on the marketplace for a few weeks now, is IM Down again? I haven't been able to click the button and every time I click on a sellers banner to open IM it sends me straight to the mpgh home page.

i'm not sure if this bug is known or not. the special characters in my name prevent me from connecting to IM. i made a new account without them to test it with the same browsers and it allows me to use IM.

Yeah it's a known issue with ASCII code. The chat was only designed to work with alphanumeric characters and some special characters. That's going to have to be changed with the update.

No IM button for me at the bottom left, it just randomly disappears and reappears when it wants. It worked earlier today now its been gone for like 12+ hours and I need to get in contact with people.

This is kinda silly @Dave84311 this IM thing is broken and very unreliable, some days it works some days it doesn't, we need something that is always working. I've tried all the suggestions above and in other IM threads, it's just not working at all for me right now.

EDIT: I got on a VPN to test and as soon as I did that the IM 'Chat' button finally reappeared at the bottom left. Cmon now, I shouldn't have to do things with my IP address to get an instant messenger to start working again. I'm not trying to talk shit but this is my constructive criticism, my honest feedback, this thing is very unstable and it causes so many headaches.

My IM button is gone. Going to try out Helper666's suggestion and check if using a VPN will help.


EDIT: Nvm. Used a VPN and the button is still gone.
