Honestly don't get the point of consoles anymore. I guess you do get to play on a big tv instead of a small monitor...Like before id get a console to play the exclusives, but nowadays exclusives aren't enough to make me want to drop a couple hundred on a console.

Originally when I went to buy a console through someone who I knew, was because of the God of War 4 (saw other people doing gameplay videos of it, and in my head I was like, this is the game for me, due to the reason of it not having the button smashing mechanism like previous installments did), so I went and got myself PS4, then I started buying games like Spider-man, Uncharted 4, now I have the original, finished the first game, doing the 2nd one, and the last of us... PS exclusives are the only reason I got it... Xbox seems waste of money to me.

Though, I do not understand why would anyone waste money on Xbox, since Xbox PC beta app is available right now, and so is game pass, admittedly not with all of the games, but head of Xbox or Microsoft (I don't know which was who, who said it) have said that they're bringing all Xbox games to PC, or most of them if they can due to licencing and what not, so in my mind, that makes Xbox waste of money.

I don't know yet I have always loved Xbox due to the social aspect of it. I also like the controllers and the way the dashboard is set up a lot more. But on the other hand everyone has kind of turned over to PlayStation, in my area at least. Also, Xbox has always been plagued with errors like RROD and now what I am currently experiencing black screens and update errors. We will just have to see how they both play out.

sounds like a PC would make much more sense then as it can be used for productivity aswell

Yeah I remember using a PS3 to play Uncharted, Infamous, and the Last of Us since they were imo OD exclusive games. All can I name for Xbox is like Halo and Gears of War...which you can now play on PC. Never owned an Obox btw, only ever used it at a friend's house or something. I like PS- controllers way better too.

As a 100+ IQ gamer, I don't care as I'll probably buy and enjoy them all. Personally it's about the experience and how you like/enjoy the game you're playing.

Gaming platform doesn't mean jack shit as long you're having fun.

We should probably see the ps5 before we decide on which one to buy. I'll probably lean towards the xbox since I've been using xboxes all my life and they tend to have better backwards compatibility.

I don't know how to build a PC, but of course PC specs will ALWAYS be better than console. However console is always a cheaper alternative and most friends play it, so I think I would stick to PlayStation for social situations.
