    Post Is it possible to bruteforce a server rcon password ?

    Taking in mind that gmod server owned are not the smartest individuals, can you actually bruteforce a servers rcon password ?

    Yeah but you probably wont be able to do it efficiently even if you find a server that is using rcon_password.

    source engine servers automatically ban people after 3 failed rcon password attempts, using the banid con command

    It's possible technically but you would need a botnet of accounts at your disposal. 3 Tries without it and you're banned.
