I feel like you could send a packet to the client when the bag is generated, and with that execute the display of text. Definitely plenty of tutorials on flash text, you could even make a movie file (swf) if you were that dedicated on the animation.

Though, if you're completely new to this, I'd start in the HUDView file and initialize the text there. Simply have it invisible, then change the visibility when requirements are met.
