The viability of a private/personal Exalt Client?

I have no experience with private servers. So I was wondering if it's at all possible to create an exalt client with the latest version of the game for personal use. With or without a server, but from briefly looking at videos it seems realm is always at least played with a private server. And if not, what is the most recent version of the game we can play in private and are there any up to date tutorials on how to set it up? The few videos I've found have been of the version 27.7.X.13 which wouldn't even have the lost halls included.

If someone can create a personal exalt client (that can be fairly easily updated + give admin privileges), I'd be willing to provide a reward if you know what I mean. Sorry if this post is unrealistic but again, I'm clueless about the pserver process. Thanks

As long as one changes the target ip and port, as well as makes their private servers packets work the same the way current packets work on exalt connections, should be possible

Okay well hopefully someone can come up with something then. Is it possible to get the latest version of the game on flash running privately and if so would you have any idea where I should look to get started?

As of right now, the server architecture is the same, you should just be able to mod exalt client to be able to connect to an existing pserver.

Dont think so, stuff like hello packets didnt have extra shit like secret2 or trade packets were 1 byte for each slot but now from what i know theres more bytes sent

How would you even go about customizing it without Unity tho? Flash can't seem to appropriately handle some of the new 3d-ish elements (think some of the new setpieces in something as mundane as Pirate Cave for example).
