could i ask some question?
1.Is there a possibility of getting banned when using this method? If so, what steps can we take to minimize the risk of being banned?
2.Considering the recent encryption of files, does this mean that the cheat method has become obsolete and Will it no longer be possible to unlock new things?

This tool itself has no risk of ban as it doesn't interact with the game at all, it is just a tool that extracts all of the IDs in the game files to automatically generate the latest files that can then be used in the likes of fiddler.

Fiddler / unlockers on the other hand do carry some risk, as you're giving yourself things in the game that you don't otherwise have unlocked. The ban chance of this pre-7.7.0 was basically nonexistent because they didn't actively check for it, but I am not sure of the risk now.

As for the encryption issue.
Until that is figured out, it is impossible for someone to view the contents of the game files and therefore datamining is essentially at a standstill until it is figured out.

There's a lot of people publicly working on it right now, if you can't wait just do some research or try to make it work your self.

I don't know how to make the updater work but i figured out a way to get the new market file, I posted it above, just wait for aproval.

A friend and I are trying to figure it out, but I work a lot which means I don't have much time to spend on it, however, there is many other people with much more knowledge than me also trying to figure it out.

There's risk to any of this. My personal experience is that I got banned about 5 times using these custom files.
I believe that it was what I did whilst playing which caused the ban.

For example. Playing on a new account without completing the tutorial does not unlock David or Trapper. So after I unlocked everything and played for a few hours, it must of flagged it somewhere.
I also made myself prestige 1 to appear "under the radar" even though I was using level 3 perks. Someone could of spotted that and reported me.
Perhaps using cosmetics which aren't even out yet or are for special cases (Twitch shirt for example).
Perhaps having one of those spooky limited flashlights on Sable who could not possibly have one yet. Things like that can get you banned.

To be clear, running this programme doesn't get you banned. Its how you behave in the game with all the stuff.
My girlfriend has been using the same account for months on end with not a single ban.

But if people say you can't get banned using these methods, they are incorrect.

They are spread in the market file that has half a million characters, I just don't have patience to look into it, just wait for the DBD wiki to update and I'll take the ID's from there and share them here.

That or just wait for my market file to be approved.
