All you really need to do is make a new account, buy Arma 2 OA (make sure you don't install it again or run it again), hit library, Arma 2 OA and then under 'Links' hit CD Key. Copy that CD key and use Darky Key Changer to change your banned one, to your unbanned one. Feel free to log back into your other Steam account however, just launch with DayZ Commander from now on. If you through the comments, I believe someone posted a method on how to launch with Steam without your CD key changing back but just launching with Commander is a lot easier.

Hmm...Well, are you sure the ip changing method is working. You can try a free VPN like HotSpot Shield. They give you shitty bandwidth but you should be able to get around the bans. Also, they could be HWID banning you. Which is a little more difficult to get around.

Hi, i thought i'd share this info: you CAN play with the same steam account that you were banned on , it only requires a small registry edit.
I'll post a more complete tutorial with pics when i get to my pc later tonight

Thanks for this! I got banned 5-6 months ago, but I was bored with the game so I didn't bother to appeal to the ban or try to work around it. Though I was hoping to come back, and this helps a lot. You rock.

I tried doing everything mentioned, Had a CD key that isnt banned etc..but when I try to start DayZ it says Bad CD key - Invalid Key
Idk what to do :/
