Below are the patch notes for the 01.07.2009 patch.
The updates are scheduled for the 01.07.2009 maintenance.
New mercenary, so called the Specialists, fitted in midnight black Combat Suits which can use a variety of Special Items with a diverse set of functions will be available. The new warzone 'Power Surge' located in an industrial pumping area will be open for battle. Fight against the heat of summer with the new content on Combat Arms Europe!

New Features
- New map: Power Surge
The enemy squad has been tracked to this industrial pumping station. Eliminate all hostiles and retrieve the EMP bomb.
Available game modes: Elimination, One Man Army, Capture the Flag, Spy Hunt

- UI Changes: Country Flags of players will be shown within the game
- Fireteam Mode Reward: Rewards will be added to Fireteam Mode 'HARD' and 'EXTREME' difficulties.
Shemagh: Protection +27%
Elite Shemagh: Protection +32%

- Mode Adjustments: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 are now available again in 'Search and Destroy'

Gear balancing and bug fixing
- All Shotguns will be rebalanced.
- Textures for the Suppressor on USP Tactical appear correctly when using Hana and Mei.
- All Scope/Sight modifications for the UMP appear correctly In-Game and in the Mod Shop.
- All HDS-4 Reflex Sights have been rebalanced. (2% -> 5%)
- Magazines cannot be modified on the PP-19 series.
- Arrow Keys can now be assigned normaly for custom controls.
- Some Messenger problems have been resolved.
- A number of glitches and climbable areas have been fixed.
- Clan Experience earned and Experienced needed to rank up is now displayed on the Clan Page.
- Assault Rifle AUG A1 Black alternate firing mode information has been added to the Shop description.
- Crash fixed that occurred when attaching duplicate modifications in the Mod Shop.
- Player Information updated to display NX Grade based on total NX used. Total NX used has been removed.
- The Clan Match room settings have been visually adjusted to display as locked.
- Abnormal EXP gained from abnormal ending of Fireteam Mode fixed.
- Bonus EXP for Rank-ups are now given from the server side. Though you do not see the congratulations window you will receive the reward normally.
- Fireteam AI bugs modified.
- Kill/Deaths swapped on the server select window fixed.
- Search and Destroy: Issue where players on the same team could get stuck planting the bomb has been resolved.
- Other minor bugs fixed.
