Being banned on main account by using a free account

Can you be banned on an account you don't hack on if you use the same computer as an account you do hack on?

Just don't wanna get banned on my actual account while using throwaways

Do not listen to these people, if you get banned on an alt, you will probably not get associated accounts banned, but if you get enough alts banned, then valve will look into it and check other accounts with the same login ips and the same email registered, so be careful.
