Before I would never last hit, I just hit whatever I could.
My biggest mistake was always building AD. I saved up for Anivia because of her passive. I started massively building Bloodthirsters and Hydras. It got to the point when I was 250 AD Anivia with 45 AP. Then I got a little more skilled and looked over champion spotlights before I play any champion.
What was your biggest mistake as a noob?

I played sej as a support, built HoG on everybody, and didn't buy boots for darius until about 30 minutes.
Instead of using QWER, I'd always press the spell. I'd also max it out from Q-W-E-R in that order where I'd max Q first, then W, then E, then R
Using Teemo as my main
Playing AP Lulu support bot without buying any wards in my first ranked.
My biggest mistake, was buying Runaans Hurricane as my core item on every champion because it looks so cool when you read it, but then you read it again and it says ranged only, i was like facepalm...
When i started playing League, one of the free champs was oriana. i usually built attack speed and no ad at all.
First time when I joined league of legends I was going 1v1 with the turret xD
