Most noob topics spawn like this very topic. someone who is bored tries to get a pointless debate on something.
other possible causes can be, but are not limited to : being below 12 years of age, having a low IQ, people who enjoy the act of starting shit, be it online or offline; people of a foreign nationality barely fluent in english, and more.
