The Very Basics of DayZ Hacking (Read This Before Asking Anything About DayZ Hacks)
Read this if you have are new to the site, have no, or very limited knowledge of how to hack.
Key Terms:
Battleye - The Primary Anti Cheat for Bohemia Interactive (DayZ, Arma)
VAC - Valve Anti Cheat, the primary steam anti cheat
Scripts - a piece of programing code (this can be a game, program, cheat, menu or really anything if your creative)
Memory - refers to active game memory which is where data is stored while you play (such as the amount of ammo in your gun)
Injector - a program which injects cheat software into your game
Executor - a program which runs the cheats after being injected into your game
Bypass - a means to work around (such as a battleye bypass which gets your cheats past the anti cheat)
Menu - a cheat UI that allows you to activate cheats in game
Memory Hacks - hacks that alter the active memory of the game to produce a desired effect
Script Hacks - hacks that work using the defined language the game is coded in to produce a desired effect
Basics about cheating:
1. You need a Battleye bypass (which you have to buy, no-one gives them out for free).
2. You need a cheat menu (whether it be a memory based or scripted based).
3. If you inject using some random injector you find on a forum your gonna get banned.
4. Even with a good bypass there is a chance that it can become dectected and you can be banned.
5. Even if your bypass doesnt get detected you still have the chance of being reported by other players which can lead to a ban.
6. Do your research before hacking (this is key, cant stress this enough).
7. Dont go asking around on MPGH for a bypass because no-one will give you one, we are not allowed to post external links
8. If someone does give you a "free bypass" its probably malware (virus).
