That pak_Dir method is outdated.
At the moment I am working on a patcher the re-enables it.
I can not promise that this will be released anytime soon, but it will be done.
So just hold tight until I finish it.
Also, I am having a hard time in school as I don't "Apply" myself in it.
Also I was recently VAC banned from CS:GO for using detected hacks.
So this is why it might take so long.

As far as the models/texture hacks Kila, its sv_consistency 1 that does the "checking", if its on you get kicked if files don't match servers, the files depend on sv_pure whitelist

sv_pure 1 is set by admins what to allow, in most cases its either guns only, or guns and models
sv_pure 2 makes it where all files have to match the server's or it will either kick you if consistency is on or everything will appear as normal

sv_pure 0 allows all skins

it was the same in Source, In source there was a bypass by creating or joining a server with normal files and drag/drop the hacked ones while in the server, then joining a sv_consistency 1 server after would allow you in, dunno if it still works nor do I know if it will work with Go.

sv_pure servers without sv_consistency will make everything appear normal without kicking people, this makes people think the hack "stopped working"
