    Sad to say

I've been coming to the programming section since 09, before the coders lounge even existed. We had to ask dabe for it

Sad to see that it's not in its glory that it used to be in 09, 2010, and even into 2011. I guess good things never last, and even I have moved on too. I barely even visit this website, only for a week or so at a time, every 5-6 months or so.
    Nothing good lasts forever

I had to stay up all night 3 nights ago to work on my Java project nonstop, and had to skip 2 hours of school to finish it. Finally did though.
My computer science teacher, along with Java, should be obliterated from this planet.
Java takes OOP and makes it way more annoying.

    Assembly and C 4evar

Java brought thousands of twelvies Minecraft (we were all once a twelvie :P), it's very welcome in this world.
And we wouldn't have virtual rubik's cubes :3

Only language I know is VB.NET and I love it!

Having virtual rubik's cubes relies on neither twelvies, nor Java,

Don't know how "good" the programming section used to be, but damn, these days C/C++ is just sad to look at. And assembly seems to be completely abandoned.

In it's glory days we actually had a few people with knowledge, and the ones who were still learning were actually eager to learn(not begging for C&Ps).

If you think Java makes OOP more annoying you're doing something terribly wrong. Either your IDE is shit, or you don't know how to correctly map out an easy to extend and use system.
