Pretty much self explanatory, This contest will be to create and judge the best (of a specific type) user created chrome extension.
How do I enter?
For a chance to win one (1) year free hosting provided by MPGH , (1) (up to) 3 page personal or clan website provided by MPGH and (1) month free MPGH VIP of your choice, you must submit your entry by 1:59 P.M. ET on Tues., April 26, 2011. In this thread following the format provided in the link above (guidelines)

What is a search extension?
Simply put, a extension that appears in the address bar of chrome, it allows users to perform a search of MPGH @ any given time, without needing to navigate to MPGH.
You can perform this task in a multitude of ways, however , In a attempt to allow as many participents as possible, I have offered a tutorial on how to build the first part of this extension, so if you are not a developer, new to developing or a pro developer, you can start right here.

To help out even more: I have provided a is a list of possible parameters you can use to increase the functionality of this extension by using vBulliten search params.

Note: How you impliment these settings is entirly up to you.
Who Will Judge?
Any Member of MPGH can judge once the voting thread goes up (no one shall/can vote during submission, if you do, Post will be deleted and a Admin/GM may ban if it is warranted.)
[b]after MPGH members have finished voting, the TOP 3 most voted for will be handed over to MPGH admins (@Dave84311 , @Liz , @arunforce) who will make the FINAL decision, the reason for this is (this) extension will be a Official MPGH Extension.
What will I be judged on?
Considering this will be a "Official MPGH application", The Judges (MPGH Members & Staff) should judge you on:
- User Interface:
Both Graphical and Usablity. The Extension should be easy to use and easy to understand, the UI should be as clean and user firendly as possible.
- Functionality
The more functions, the better the application, we are looking for a "Full Featured Extensions" , You do not have to attempt to integrate every possible variable and function, but as much as possible.
- Originality
Adding your own ideas , concepts, UI is a plus in my books, using only what I have provided above and in my tutorial may not be sufficient, so if you can come up with your own ideas to make this extension, please do.
I am not a good developer but I want to try, What if your tutorial is not enough?
MPGH has many devoted members willing to help you learn, though you cannot ask for direct support for this application, you can ask questions to help you learn how to perform a task.
