Combat Arms Private Server
now that i got your attention... this section is super dead... i miss the model mods and maps and everything that was showing up

so i came up with a solution!!

i will provide everyone here the following

NOLF2 full version
1.3 update
LivesForever Mod
Sleepercell's Weapons

What i will do
I currently have 2 servers running for NOLF2 that you just use a custom game launcher to connect to (Lives Forever Mod)
From here, i want to grow Lithtech modding back to what it was!

1 Server will be for HACKING as in reverse engineering and C++
1 server for MODDING, as in rez chams, jump key, unlimited ammo, etc.

I'd like to see the model mods and such posted in this section, and every other week i'll update the server with basically our own MOTM in this section! and add like the top 2-4 mods we make, no matter how destructive against the physical game they are! lol

whose in?!?


EDIT: Was thinkin about setting up a 3rd server specifically for Combat Arms model game swaps and as a section we can slowly make a CAPS and release it

cause we cant model edit it in CA so this would just get the elite competitions that can actually be fun

when i'm home sunday i'll try to upload NOLF2 for everyone and link you all to the LivesForever mod for server and such

i'll also try to post a converted gun model tonight from ca to nolf to show you guys an example with the LTA and DTX

no no no you miss understand. The version we are using of the source is WAY different.

the NOLF2 i'd be releasing is the REAL NOLF2. Not TPS or any part of it. My TPS maps don't even work on the nolf2 i'd be using for this

Maps will prove difficult. Other than that it should work

And most of the conversions are basic animation rename and dtx convertinglol

as close to CA as we can get

pretty much how its gonna work is release your conversions here, i'll throw em in 1 huge mod package REZ file and reupload so its all 1 rez file and we all have the same files

the only things we can NOT edit is Attributes. that's an iffy area, you edit attributes and its all different, we're fawked

Should probably keep the regular CA dtx for the conversions and let people do their own swapping
Or maybe host a contest and the winner can have his texture be implemented into default sort of like sponsoring, and just do rotational for each patch

That's what i meant... i suck at explaining

what i was gonna do was like MOTM...pretty much section votes on what hits the server update wise or not, and i add it to 1 massive rez file, and upload it

I can do the swapping and prepping the rez files before sending them to you to be released in a patch

it's gonna have to be 1 giant rez file for everything, so basically WinREZ LT
